The Hollicarrs Timber Lodge and Holiday Home Park is part of the historic
Escrick Park Estate, which has been handed down through the Forbes Adam
generations to Charles who now manages the Estate. This is an exclusive park
for holiday home ownership set in 250 acres of mature woodland just 6 miles
south of York City in a peaceful position, yet only a short drive from the
main A19 trunk road. Each pitch is built to provide secluded private sites
with natural tree screening between each home.
A fishing lake, bowling green
and a tennis court are provided for sole use of the home owners. Cycle hire
is available and special nature trails are set out around the site.
Hollicarrs has a 12 month holiday licence, you can therefore use you holiday
home all year round.
Several demonstration homes are available to view, however we strongly
recommend that you make an appointment before setting off from home.
The Hollicarrs is ideally situated for many attractions from coastal towns,
to the Yorkshire dales and moors, historic houses and cities to nature
reserves and country walks. There is also an abundance of shopping
facilities, restaurants, fishing lakes, golf courses, horse riding and
cycling routes within a few miles of your holiday home.
The nearby villages of Escrick and Riccall both offer excellent restaurants
and public houses, and of course York itself is well renowned for its
excellent eateries, museums and art galleries.
